Our HERO Calico Dust Bags made completely from recycled cotton are perfect for online retailers looking to pack their products with reusable packaging. The HERO Calico bags are made from recycled fabrics and protect your products inside the HEROPACK. The bags are great for jewellery, fashion, apparel, swimwear, books and accessories. These drawstring bags are made from recycled, unbleached, natural calico fibres, and are machine washable (without printing).
These bags can be custom printed in full colour (logos or photos) with a minimum order quantity of just 25 bags. You can also order a single bag as a printed sample. Simply select "YES - ADD MY LOGO" and add your artwork. We'll send through a print proof and then print your full order. Printing times depend on the quantity ordered.

Our printing is best for logos, images and text. It is not for blocks of colour. If your artwork has solid blocks of colour, we will contact you to discuss any changes that may need to be made to make sure your bags look incredible.
As the bags are handmade, there will be very slight variances in the measurements, and the material colour may vary marginally from one shipment to the next.
Please read the following before ordering custom printed bags:
- We can print in full colour (multiple colours in your artwork) but cannot print in white. There may be slight variations on the printing including sizing and colours. Any white backgrounds in your artwork will not print. If your actual logo/text artwork is submitted in white, it will be converted to black for printing.
- If you have any issues uploading your artwork, you can place your order as usual including custom printing, leave a note on your order, and email the artwork to us separately at hello@heropackaging.com.au.
- We cannot print on the whole bag. These are the print areas:
XS: 6cm x 8cm, SMALL: 13cm x 16cm, MEDIUM: 17cm x 24cm, LARGE: 26cm x 32cm
- If you need double sided printing, please email us for a quote. Please also note that the inks we use are not suitable for machine washing. Very gentle hand washing may be possible but should be tested first as colours may run depending on the print.
- The colours printed on these bags may not be as saturated as the images or logo you provide. For example, blacks may appear like dark grey when printed on the bags. This is due to the nature of the material of the recycled cotton and the eco-friendly inks. Please note also that images online may appear differently to what the bags will look like in person. Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 12pm AEST/AEDT on business days. All other orders ship the next business day. Holiday trading hours may differ — check our website for the latest.
Australia Post is currently delivering as normal. Choose Express Post at checkout if you need products quickly. Sydney customers also have same-day delivery options at checkout.
Some delivery delays may apply. Please allow extra time and check your tracking link before contacting us. Keep buffer stock on hand to avoid running out.
Orders placed before 12pm AEDT on a business day are dispatched same day. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
Our order system is highly automated — we cannot amend or change orders once placed under any circumstances. If you need to return mailers, please see our returns information below.

All custom orders begin with a PDF proof — allow 2–3 business days. Printing only starts after you approve the proof. All timings below are from proof approval.

Orders shipped outside Australia are classified as imports in the destination country. You are responsible for paying any applicable import duties and taxes to clear customs.
The shipping carrier will contact you using your order details. If duties are not paid, the shipment will be diverted to commercial composting and cannot be returned. No refunds apply in these cases.
If you've purchased the wrong size or no longer need your mailers, you may be able to return them for store credit within 14 days of purchase. No change-of-mind returns are accepted after this period due to the shelf life of our mailers.
Sometimes things don't go to plan — and we'll always make it right. Resolutions can include product replacements, store credits, or refunds.
If you have a product issue, please contact us for instructions. We'll generally ask for photos or a short video of the issue to provide the fastest possible resolution.
When a product is out of stock it may move to a pre-order listing. This will be clearly noted on the product page and in your order confirmation.
If you order a pre-order item alongside in-stock items, your entire order is held until pre-order stock is available. We cannot partially ship orders.
Tip: Place pre-order and in-stock items in separate orders to avoid delays.
