Hero custom shipping boxes are 100% recycled, fully customisable mailing boxes printed edge-to-edge in our Sydney warehouse designed to give your customer the best unboxing experience possible. Choose from five standard sizes or order a fully custom size, in full-colour or single-colour print, from a minimum order of just 25 boxes.
Built from Australian post-consumer recycled board and corrugated 35–85% thicker than the average mailer box, every Hero box is fully recyclable, ships flat-packed, and is made by the Hero team locally, meaning faster turnaround, more flexibility, and a lower carbon footprint.

Must Read Before Ordering Custom Boxes
- Sizing tolerance: All boxes may have up to a 5mm sizing discrepancy. If exact dimensions are critical, email hello@heropackaging.com.au as soon as you order.
- Read the artwork guidelines before you upload your design
- Logos must be vector (.ai, .eps, .svg, vector .pdf). Pixel-based logos will print blurry.
- Match board to design: dark colours and brown/black artwork should be printed on Kraft Brown; bright/light/full-colour designs should be printed on Kraft White or White/Brown Mix.
- Custom sizes have machine limits- if in doubt, contact us before ordering.
- Add 2–3 days for proof approval on top of the printing lead time. Peak periods add another 3–4 days.
- Our team prints what you send so double and triple check your artwork before approving the proof. We can't refund custom orders that have already been printed.

How custom box printing works
From design to delivery, here's exactly what happens after you place your order:
- Design your box. Use our "Design Online" tool with revolutionary 3D rotating box previews or download our template files and email artwork from your own designer to hello@heropackaging.com.au. Always read our Box Artwork Guidelines before uploading.
- Send a vector logo. If you're sending us a logo, please supply it as a vector file (.ai, .eps, .svg, or vector .pdf) so it doesn't pixelate
- Approve your digital proof. We'll send a digital proof within 2–3 business days of your order (allow an extra 2–3 business days during peak periods).
- We print & manufacture. Once approved, your boxes are printed and made in our Sydney warehouse in 7–8 business days (3–4 days extra during peak).
- Boxes ship flat-packed. Orders over 300 boxes may be split into smaller shipments to get them to you faster.

Our minimum order is 25 boxes, and the per-box price drops the more you order so the bigger your run, the better the unit rate.

Shipping & Returns
Everything you need to know about dispatch, delivery, and our returns process.
General Shipping Information
Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 12pm AEST/AEDT on business days. All other orders ship the next business day. Holiday trading hours may differ — check our website for the latest.
Australia Post is currently delivering as normal. Choose Express Post at checkout if you need products quickly. Sydney customers also have same-day delivery options at checkout.
Some delivery delays may apply. Please allow extra time and check your tracking link before contacting us. Keep buffer stock on hand to avoid running out.
In-Stock (Ready to Ship) Orders
Orders placed before 12pm AEDT on a business day are dispatched same day. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
Our order system is highly automated — we cannot amend or change orders once placed under any circumstances. If you need to return mailers, please see our returns information below.
Unforeseen events such as natural disasters may impact dispatch times. Check our website for the most up-to-date information.

All custom orders begin with a PDF proof — allow 2–3 business days. Printing only starts after you approve the proof. All timings below are from proof approval.

Australian Orders
Allow 2–8 business days after your order has been dispatched.
Allow 1–3 business days after dispatch. Select at checkout.

International Orders
Allow 5–20 days depending on your country. Estimated times display in checkout once your address is entered.
Allow 3–7 days to New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK, and other supported countries.
Orders shipped outside Australia are classified as imports in the destination country. You are responsible for paying any applicable import duties and taxes to clear customs.
The shipping carrier will contact you using your order details. If duties are not paid, the shipment will be diverted to commercial composting and cannot be returned. No refunds apply in these cases.
Returns Information
If you've purchased the wrong size or no longer need your mailers, you may be able to return them for store credit within 14 days of purchase. No change-of-mind returns are accepted after this period due to the shelf life of our mailers.

Sometimes things don't go to plan — and we'll always make it right. Resolutions can include product replacements, store credits, or refunds.
If you have a product issue, please contact us for instructions. We'll generally ask for photos or a short video of the issue to provide the fastest possible resolution.
Pre-Order Information
When a product is out of stock it may move to a pre-order listing. This will be clearly noted on the product page and in your order confirmation.
If you order a pre-order item alongside in-stock items, your entire order is held until pre-order stock is available. We cannot partially ship orders.
Tip: Place pre-order and in-stock items in separate orders to avoid delays.

What's the minimum order for custom printed boxes?
The minimum order quantity for Hero custom shipping boxes is 25 boxes. You can also order a single printed sample to check quality, sizing and print before committing to a full run.
How long do custom printed boxes take?
After your digital proof is approved, custom-printed boxes take 7–8 business days to manufacture and print in our Sydney warehouse. Allow an additional 2–3 business days for proof approval, and an extra 3–4 days during peak season. Orders over 300 boxes may be split across 2–3 deliveries to get them to you faster.
Are Hero custom boxes made in Australia?
Yes. Our cardboard is sourced from Australian post-consumer recycled paper, and every Hero box is manufactured and printed in our Sydney warehouse. Our boxes are FSC certified and 100% recycled.

How thick is the cardboard?
Hero custom boxes are made from corrugated board between 2.2mm (stronger than E-flute) and 3mm (B-flute) — generally 35–85% thicker than other Australian mailing box suppliers. This makes them strong enough to protect bulky or fragile products in transit.
How accurate are the box dimensions?

Do Hero boxes come flat-packed?
Yes. All custom shipping boxes ship flat-packed for efficient storage and lower freight emissions. Just fold to assemble when you're ready to pack.
