Purple Shipping Mailers
Not too light, not too dark. This purple is juuuuust right. This is our latest certified Home-Compostable HEROPACK.
It looks and feels like plastic, but it's not. Not even close. It is a 100% home-compostable shipping mailer and is made from 70-80% PBAT (a co-polymer that is completely compostable) and 20-30% PLA (which is a fancy way of saying cornstarch).
In a commercial compostable environment, it will break-down within 90 days. At home, it may take up to 120 days.

Please note: If you're shipping any products which have sharp corners or edges (such as shoe boxes), it's best to trial a couple of shipments with our mailers to ensure everything performs as expected. In order to remain certified home-compostable, our mailers can't be too thick like evil plastic mailers, so sharp corners could sometimes cause damage. Other than that, HEROPACK mailers have a high weight load rating and can withstand all the hard knocks during the shipping process.
Product shelf life: as our compostable mailers are made using renewable ingredients, they have a shelf life of approximately 9-12 months when kept in cool and dry conditions, out of direct sunlight. This should be considered when ordering mailers in bulk. We recommend ordering for a 3-6 month period of shipments.
Please note: These mailers are semi-translucent. We recommend packaging your products in a bag or wrapping that is opaque so the products can't be seen through the packaging. The translucency of the HEROPACK material is due to the nature of the renewable ingredients used. There are strict rules to be in compliance with the Australian home-compostable certification from ABA, and this is the most important factor for us. If you are looking for no transparency, we recommend our black compostable mailers.
What Sets Hero Packaging Mailers Apart
The quality of these purple postage bags can't be beaten. They're waterproof, tough, and outfitted with a double adhesive strip that allows them to be reused over and over again. The durability of these mailers comes from their quality materials: a blend of 70-80% PBAT (compostable co-polymer) and 20-30% PLA (cornstarch).
They're also gorgeous to look at and sure to leave a positive impression. The deep purple colour has a matte finish and styled with a subtle, grey/white HEROPACK logo on the front.
Customise the Size and Quantity of Your Order
We offer our purple shipping mailers in several different sizes, all of which are similar to the dimensions used by Australia Post. These include the small (19cmx26cm), the medium 1kg (26.5cmx38cm), and our extra- large 5kg mailers (55cmx55cm). For your convenience, and to get the best value, you can order in quantities of 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1000. With this variety, you shouldn't have any trouble finding a mailer that fits your product.
Can't choose between our multiple sizes? We understand if you'd like to see some samples before committing to a 25+ pack. That's why we offer a HEROPACK sampler containing sample mailers to try out. This variety pack will help you determine which size and colour mailer is best suited to your product. If you'd like to order in bigger quantities, you're welcome to order your own custom mailers.

Shipping & Returns

General Shipping Information
Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 12pm AEST/AEDT on business days. All other orders ship the next business day. Holiday trading hours may differ — check our website for the latest.
Australia Post is currently delivering as normal. Choose Express Post at checkout if you need products quickly. Sydney customers also have same-day delivery options at checkout.
Some delivery delays may apply. Please allow extra time and check your tracking link before contacting us. Keep buffer stock on hand to avoid running out.
In-Stock (Ready to Ship) Orders
Orders placed before 12pm AEDT on a business day are dispatched same day. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
Our order system is highly automated — we cannot amend or change orders once placed under any circumstances. If you need to return mailers, please see our returns information below.
Unforeseen events such as natural disasters may impact dispatch times. Check our website for the most up-to-date information.
Custom Printed Orders
All custom orders begin with a PDF proof — allow 2–3 business days. Printing only starts after you approve the proof. All timings below are from proof approval.

Australian Orders
Allow 2–8 business days after your order has been dispatched.

International Orders
Allow 5–20 days depending on your country. Estimated times display in checkout once your address is entered.
Allow 3–7 days to New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK, and other supported countries.
Orders shipped outside Australia are classified as imports in the destination country. You are responsible for paying any applicable import duties and taxes to clear customs.
The shipping carrier will contact you using your order details. If duties are not paid, the shipment will be diverted to commercial composting and cannot be returned. No refunds apply in these cases.
Returns Information
If you've purchased the wrong size or no longer need your mailers, you may be able to return them for store credit within 14 days of purchase. No change-of-mind returns are accepted after this period due to the shelf life of our mailers.

Sometimes things don't go to plan — and we'll always make it right. Resolutions can include product replacements, store credits, or refunds.
If you have a product issue, please contact us for instructions. We'll generally ask for photos or a short video of the issue to provide the fastest possible resolution.
Pre-Order Information
When a product is out of stock it may move to a pre-order listing. This will be clearly noted on the product page and in your order confirmation.
If you order a pre-order item alongside in-stock items, your entire order is held until pre-order stock is available. We cannot partially ship orders.
Tip: Place pre-order and in-stock items in separate orders to avoid delays.
